Wisdom urges us to heed the signposts. We were worried about rampaging wildebeests, yet the sign clearly indicates a Kangaroo Crossing ahead.
In other words, we were on a fast track to YWAM training in South Africa, however, God had a better, less breakneck plan for us. Our departure for candidate training school has been postponed until the end of December and relocated to Perth. This plan will place us in Australia sooner—without facing the complications and expenses of a five month excursion to Africa.
Further confirming that we've chosen wisely, Allyson is currently convalescing from ankle surgery she received on the same date we expected to arrive in Capetown.
Thank you again for your faithful prayers. As you prayed for us, our path become much more obvious. Thanks also to your many exceedingly generous financial sacrifices and gifts, nearly all of our training expenses have been received. Our fund raising will now focus on funding our long-term missions work before the end of the year. Currently, we are at 25% of the monthly goal needed to depart to the mission field full-time. Please pray with us for many more partners to join us in this essential ministry effort.
You are our tribe sending us out to bless other tribes in Jesus name. This partnership allows each of us to contribute effectively for God's global purpose. His deep desire is for all of us to take part in His plan to bring His gospel to the very ends of the earth. For now (at least) that means we get to go and you get to stay, pray and send us along the way.

A few of our friends have recently reported that they are still not clear on the who, what, where and whys of the work we long to do with Create International. Some have even cheerfully confessed that they're merely supporting us because they like us so much. Whereas we are delightfully flattered, we would be more confident if our mission objectives were more clear to everyone. Now that you understand our calling, will you permit us the follow-up opportunity to share more specifically about the strategic importance of Create International's work itself?
Accordingly, our deep desire is to meet with every single one of you face-to-face if possible before we permanently depart for Down Under.
