Welcome to the Baldwin Boomerang

We long to see people in every tribe, tongue and nation transformed for God's glory. Our mission is to share the gospel by producing effective, compelling media tools that people can understand in their own culture and language. We are preparing to serve as full-time media missionaries with Create International. Toward that end we completed an extensive missions training program called a Crossroads DTS at YWAM Perth, Australia and a secondary YWAM school called the School of Frontier Media in Thailand. We are currently on furlough in North America and hope to see you face-to-face in 2010!

Support Information: Our support goal is currently near 50%.

You may send gifts and donations for our support to our sending agency Ripe for Harvest and please designate Account #247 in the memo line without including our name on the check. You may then mail the check directly to:

Ripe for Harvest, P.O. Box 487, Monument, CO 80132

PLEASE note new address.

It can take up to a month and a half for us to see your donation show up on our report. Also, Ripe for Harvest is able to issue a tax deductible receipt in the USA, but YWAM in Thailand is not.

If you want to be added to our newsletter list or have additional questions, email us at baldwinboomerang @ gmail dot com

Recent Create International Activity

From Create International's May 2008 e-News

The Banjara (of India) are an Unreached People Group of about 40 million who have recently seen significant response to the gospel. The growth of the church among Banjaras is due in large part to the work of Banjara evangelists using media tools like the Jesus Film and Create International's film, “Transformation”. Calvin and Carol Conkey traveled to Hyderabad, India to attend the 21st “Jathra” gathering of the Banjara people. They were invited to participate in this celebration to mark the fifth year since Create International produced an evangelistic film in the Banjara language and culture. It was so wonderful to meet some of the actors in the film, who told us they are “proudly” using the film all throughout the area to share the gospel. It was exciting to actually be in the midst of nearly 12,000 who had gathered to watch this film. At the conclusion of the three days of ministry, the Banjara leaders dedicated a newly built Banjara Bible School building in Calvin and Carol's name. What an honor to play our part in many Banjara coming to know and worship Jesus forever and ever.

Indigitech.net, our evangelistic resource distribution website, continues to improve and expand. More than four thousands evangelistic resources have been added along with a new "graphical" interface. Visitors to this website are now able to select the region of the world they are targeting and then zoom in on the country and people group of their choice, accessing the evangelistic tools available in those languages.

Covered Language Blocks

Another addition is our "Mega Language Block Map" which demonstrates the coverage of all of Create International's evangelistic and contextual fellowship films. Each language area is hot-linked to where our visitors can freely download these resources. Create International is partnering with major initiatives such as the "Call2All" in providing these free resources and film downloads to serve the worldwide Body of Christ.
