Welcome to the Baldwin Boomerang

We long to see people in every tribe, tongue and nation transformed for God's glory. Our mission is to share the gospel by producing effective, compelling media tools that people can understand in their own culture and language. We are preparing to serve as full-time media missionaries with Create International. Toward that end we completed an extensive missions training program called a Crossroads DTS at YWAM Perth, Australia and a secondary YWAM school called the School of Frontier Media in Thailand. We are currently on furlough in North America and hope to see you face-to-face in 2010!

Support Information: Our support goal is currently near 50%.

You may send gifts and donations for our support to our sending agency Ripe for Harvest and please designate Account #247 in the memo line without including our name on the check. You may then mail the check directly to:

Ripe for Harvest, P.O. Box 487, Monument, CO 80132

PLEASE note new address.

It can take up to a month and a half for us to see your donation show up on our report. Also, Ripe for Harvest is able to issue a tax deductible receipt in the USA, but YWAM in Thailand is not.

If you want to be added to our newsletter list or have additional questions, email us at baldwinboomerang @ gmail dot com

Next Destination: Papua New Guinea

Dear Friends:

We hope this all finds you well back home. We have most definitely missed you all a great deal and there are times when we real feel the great distance between us. Thank you for your faithfulness in supporting us with your time, prayers, finances and encouragements. They have been exceedingly appreciated.

Soon we will enter the second part of our exiting missions training here at YWAM Perth. In 4 weeks we will finish the first 12 week portion devoted to lectures, which has been awesome. The next phase starting late March is devoted to outreach and application of our learning. We will be leaving Australia and going first to the tropical jungles of Papua New Guinea (PNG). There we will first assist at a conference to present biblical truths to government officials. This is an important conference requested by government officials in PNG who want to transform their nation using Biblical principles they can apply throughout society and government. Can you imagine our senators requesting such a Christian conference back home? After this exciting conference we will be participating in other evangelistic outreach activities in PNG until early May. For more information about PNG go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papua_new_guinea

From May to mid-June we will return to Australia to actively engage in evangelistic outreach to Aborigines (better known here as Indigenous Australians) in Queensland near Cairns on th
e opposite coast and corner of the country from Perth. Upon completion of this two phase outreach we will return to Perth for our missions training commencement. Upon this course completion, we will be able to officially serve as YWAM missionaries.

However, in order to serve effectively with Create International, which has been our deep desire, we will be required to complete a second round of training called the School of Frontier Media focused on training missionaries to use media as tools in effective outreach to not-yet-reached people groups around the world. Most of you know that this is our big passion! So in June we will need to make a decision whether to go immediately to Thailand to start this school in July or to remain in Perth and take it here in January 2010. You can pray for us as we wait to hear from God on this important decision.

In the meantime, we find we are 10 days away from our fees deadline for our outreach phase and still short over $6000 of needed funding for those outreach fees, including airline tickets. We would be most grateful if you would prayerfully consider sending us any funds that you and God deem appropriate for us at this time to help us meet this goal. Please ask God how much he would like you to send to us at this time. If you would like to send it directly to us online it is very easy to make donations at https://www.ywamperth.org.au/007/payonline.asp and designate your contribution for Baldwin Outreach Fees (School is CDTS).

Or you may continue to use the old fashioned method of mailing a check to Ripe for Harvest and they will forward us the funds. Obviously going online is faster but YWAM Perth is not able to issue tax deductible receipts for US Citizens since the base is in Australia. So if you require a receipt for tax purposes, mailing to Ripe for Harvest is recommended. Either way please email us and let us know so we can plan accordingly.

Once we start our outreach we will have virtually no access to email or a phone for about 3 months. Nevertheless, we look forward to catching up with all of you once we return from our adventures in Oceania. In the meantime, we will continue to pray for you and appreciate your prayers for us. For effective outreach and ministry, success in spiritual battles, safety and health, and great team unity. Thanks dear friends!
