Welcome to the Baldwin Boomerang

We long to see people in every tribe, tongue and nation transformed for God's glory. Our mission is to share the gospel by producing effective, compelling media tools that people can understand in their own culture and language. We are preparing to serve as full-time media missionaries with Create International. Toward that end we completed an extensive missions training program called a Crossroads DTS at YWAM Perth, Australia and a secondary YWAM school called the School of Frontier Media in Thailand. We are currently on furlough in North America and hope to see you face-to-face in 2010!

Support Information: Our support goal is currently near 50%.

You may send gifts and donations for our support to our sending agency Ripe for Harvest and please designate Account #247 in the memo line without including our name on the check. You may then mail the check directly to:

Ripe for Harvest, P.O. Box 487, Monument, CO 80132

PLEASE note new address.

It can take up to a month and a half for us to see your donation show up on our report. Also, Ripe for Harvest is able to issue a tax deductible receipt in the USA, but YWAM in Thailand is not.

If you want to be added to our newsletter list or have additional questions, email us at baldwinboomerang @ gmail dot com

We are poised to depart at the end of this month. Thanks for tracking with us this year. As you well know by now, the Lord has called our family to prepare to join the exciting frontier missions ministry of Create International in Western Australia. We came to this decision dramatically last fall and now just over a year later we are shipping out. No matter where God takes us, you will always have the distinction of being "our peeps." We are deeply grateful, proud and privileged to be partnering with you as our home team.

Join us if you're able on Sunday, December 21st for our official commissioning service at First Congregational Church of Hamilton at 8:30 or 11 am. Afterwards we will say our goodbyes for now over cookies and coffee in the church café next to Heritage Hall. We then leave for Cape Cod for a few days of Christmas vacation. On December 27th we begin our travel to Perth, Australia to begin our initial tour of service with YWAM.

We humbly ask for your prayer support. Please pray for us during this big transition that the Lord will protect, comfort and guide us as we travel and move so very far away. Please pray that our relationship with God and each other will continue to grow. We continue to trust him for our every need at every step. We long to effectively share the gospel, and know that we can only do it with God's power and might.

These are strange and difficult financial times, yet our God was and is able to provide for all our needs! Thank you for your exceedingly generous contributions to get us kick-started in this ministry. We are able to leave at this time due to a stronger American dollar than the Australian dollar, yet that situation could change leaving us underfunded very quickly. Consequently, please continue to pray that our support goals will be fully met—particularly for the upcoming outreach fees at the end of March. Where he calls, he provides. He has proven this to us time and again this year so we know with confidence that he is more than able. If the Lord speaks to you about supporting us financially, please contact us or visit our blog for more information to get started.

What a joy it is to be part of this extended church family! We look forward to working together with you for years and years to come. We look forward to sharing our stories with you and hearing about your exciting adventures as well. May the Lord be pleased to use all of us in our community and around the world. God bless you!
