Welcome to the Baldwin Boomerang

We long to see people in every tribe, tongue and nation transformed for God's glory. Our mission is to share the gospel by producing effective, compelling media tools that people can understand in their own culture and language. We are preparing to serve as full-time media missionaries with Create International. Toward that end we completed an extensive missions training program called a Crossroads DTS at YWAM Perth, Australia and a secondary YWAM school called the School of Frontier Media in Thailand. We are currently on furlough in North America and hope to see you face-to-face in 2010!

Support Information: Our support goal is currently near 50%.

You may send gifts and donations for our support to our sending agency Ripe for Harvest and please designate Account #247 in the memo line without including our name on the check. You may then mail the check directly to:

Ripe for Harvest, P.O. Box 487, Monument, CO 80132

PLEASE note new address.

It can take up to a month and a half for us to see your donation show up on our report. Also, Ripe for Harvest is able to issue a tax deductible receipt in the USA, but YWAM in Thailand is not.

If you want to be added to our newsletter list or have additional questions, email us at baldwinboomerang @ gmail dot com

All my cutest girls: Rachel, Caroline, Abigail and Isabelle!

To be honest, I'm not sure anyone is even reading this! Has it become too much of a naval-gazing journal? I hope not - I hate that! The sad part is, I'm not sure I'd recognize it if it was!

Anyway - I'm just posting tonight to say thank you to our lovely, lovely friends who are supporting us so beautifully. I am so humbled by the amount of you who have agreed to come to our church event (I know - who could stay away when Superman and Supergirl are coming!) and everyone who has already offered us financial support. God has been SO good to us by raising up you godly people to send us. How can we ever thank you?? All I can say is that we are praying for you, too. But maybe even more that that - we are missing you already. How can we leave you all?? It is a funny position to be in, God has blessed me SO GREATLY with friends I truly love, and also blessed me with a call to GO. This is very hard to reconcile some days...

Our going may actually be postponed for the moment. Not in a huge way - or even in a definite way - but we did find out tonight that the house we are living in has been made available to us through August. Until today we thought we were going to have to move out in June. God certainly has his own agenda for us, and if this is a clue that we won't be going on to training in June - than that is fine by me. If it means nothing of the sort I wouldn't be surprised either. I figured out a long time ago that there is no defining God's actions. He is God and I am content to be just his child. He can do what he wants!

Thanks for bearing with me here. Hey - if you are reading this, post a quick note just so I know. Should I send emails out when I update this? I'm inclined not to flood you all with even MORE email from the Baldwins. So I'll just post this out in cyberspace and let it be. I love you all, though. Thanks for being my friends. :)

Hi Allyson! Yes, I read your blogs. I am sad but happy for you at the same time. Thanks for keeping up with this, as it helps me keep track of your status. We'll certainly miss you, but be praying for you. And if find we can do more than that, we'll certainly let you know. Hope to run into you soon!
